The Duggar sisters explain in an interview on 'The Kelly File' about safety guards their family put in the house, including 'locks on the doors' and no 'hide-and-seek' in the house.

AceShowbiz - Jill Duggar and sister Jessa Duggar revealed that their parents installed locks on the doors in their house after Josh told his parents that he had inappropriately touched some girls, including his sisters. In an interview with Megyn Kelly on "The Kelly File" which aired on Friday night, June 5, they talked about some preventive actions their parents took to protect them.

Jessa said that their parents "handled the situation very well" after Josh admitted to his wrongdoings. Shen then gave examples of some actions they did. "They set up safety guards in our house, and sent Josh away," she explained.

The host asked them to elaborate what safeguards they were referring to. Jill said that her parents told the children to "not being alone." She added, "My parents said, 'Okay, we're not going to do this hide-and-seek thing where two people go off and hide together.' " Jessa also said that Josh was prohibited to babysit girls. More serious action included "locks on the doors" at night. Jill continued, "You know, everybody's in bed. Girls in the girls' room. Boys in the boys' room."

Jill later praised their parents for their thoughtful actions. She said, "As a mother now I look back, and I think, you know, my parents did such an amazing job for me. Even when we went through the DHS investigation they complimented my parents on what an amazing job they did through that process."

Besides revealing the actions their parents had taken, Jill and Jessa tried to defend their elder brother. "Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls. And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices," Jessa said. "But, really, the extent of it was mild - inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while girls were sleeping."

Jill and Jessa also said that they had forgiven Josh for what he did to them. The two admitted that they had no memory about him touching them. They found out about Josh's inappropriate behavior as their parents told them separately.

The interview with Kelly was the family's first TV interview since the case emerged two weeks ago. The first part of the interview had aired on Wednesday, June 3. In the earlier interview, Jim Bob Duggar asked people to forgive his son for his misconduct.
