The 'Bailando' hitmaker sliced his hand after trying to grab a drone during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico on Saturday, May 30.

AceShowbiz - Enrique Iglesias requires a surgery on his hand after suffering a bloody accident during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico. His rep tells The Associated Press that the "Bailando" singer is undergoing hand reconstructive surgery in Los Angeles and the procedure will be completed by Monday, June 1.

"Thank you to all for your concern and good wishes. Enrique is currently undergoing reconstructive hand surgery today," Enrique's representative says in a statement, "Enrique will resume his tour July 3rd in Mexico City. We appreciate all your wishes and prayers."

On Saturday, Enrique performed with bloody hand during a concert at Plaza de Toros de Playas after he sliced some of his fingers when trying to grab a drone. According to the "Bailamos" singer's camp, "during the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident. He was semi-treated by crew on the side of the stage to try and stop the bleeding. He was advised to stop the show."

The camp added, "He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show. He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to LA where we was then put on a plane to LA to see an specialist. We will continue to update as we have more info."
