'The Strain' Season 2 Trailer Finds a Way to Kill Vampires

A city councilwoman declares a war against vampires as their ancient Master undergoes a 'wondrous transformation.'

AceShowbiz - The war between humans and vampires continues in the second season of "The Strain" which has been previewed in a trailer. Making its way out via EW.com, the video sees humans' efforts to take back New York City from the vamps.

"We're going to take back this island one block at a time," says a city councilwoman, played by new cast member Samantha Mathis. Abraham Sertrakian (David Bradley) is also determined to banish the evil creature from the land, declaring, "I vow to fight The Master until the day I die."

Eph (Corey Stoll) and Norah (Mia Maestro) from the Center for Disease Control seemingly find a way to stop the spread of the virus, by infecting the infected. Meanwhile, the ancient Master may get stronger as he undergoes a "wondrous transformation."

"The Strain" season 2 kicks off this summer. Along with the trailer, a teaser poster for the new season is also unleashed.
