David Ayer, the director of the DC comic superhero flick released a first official photo of the movie cast members wearing costumes for their roles.

AceShowbiz - After revealing the first official photo of Joker (Jared Leto), David Ayer, the director of "Suicide Squad", pleased fans by releasing the first official cast photo in costume. Ayer posted the photo on Twitter on Sunday, May 3 and captioned the photo, "Task Force X assembled and ready. #SuicideSquad."

The photo features Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz. It marks the first look at Robie with blue ombre hair as Harley Quinn. Meanwhile, Leto who plays Jokes is noticeably missing in the photo.

"Suicide Squad" is based on the DC comic books which story centers on imprisoned villains who are recruited by the government agency to perform covert operation in order to redeem their past. The film is already shooting in Toronto and is set for a release in the U.S. on August 5, 2016. Charles Roven and Richard Suckle produce the movie with the script written by David and Justin Marks.
