The man identified as Dimitri Reeves tries to spread positive message when he dances to and sings the late King of Pop's 1982 hit single on the streets of Baltimore.

AceShowbiz - A man was spotted dancing while numerous protesters took over the streets in Baltimore in the wake of Freddie Gray's death on Monday night, April 27. Amid chaos, the man who's later identified as Dimitri Reeves channeled Michael Jackson as he busted out moves to the late singer's "Beat It".

His action was captured in a video taken and shared on Twitter by NBC's reporter Shomari Stone. In the clip, Reeves caught people's attention as he danced on the street and sang Jacko's 1982 hit single.

The protest came following Gray's funeral. The 25-year-old man died of a severe spinal injury he obtained while in city police custody. Reeves has his own reason why he chose to join the protest by dancing to the song. The original music video for the track sees Jackson breaking up a fight before he sings lines like, "You're playin' with your life/ This ain't no truth or dare/ They'll kick you, then they beat you, then they'll tell you it's fair/ So beat it."

After his video went viral, Reeves said on Twitter, "Spread love and peace never violence....."

Earlier on Monday, Reeves appeared on another Baltimore street to spread the positive message by dancing to "Beat It". A video from the moment has also gone viral, showing him at the top of a yellow truck while helicopters flew above him.
