In a recent interview on 'Inside Edition', Pumpkin reveals that she is attracted to both females and males, adding that her mother is bisexual too.

AceShowbiz - "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" stars June Shannon and her daughter Lauryn Shannon have admitted that they are bisexual. They made the revelation in a joint interview on "Inside Edition" talk show earlier this month.
On the show, Mama June and Lauryn, best known as Pumpkin, sat together with the host of the show Jim Moret to discuss the two's sexual history. Pumpkin then used the forum to reveal her real sexual orientation to the world, proudly saying, "I'm attracted to females, and I'm attracted to males. You cannot hide who you truly are."
She later blurted out, "She is gay, too! June is gay, too!" Instead of feeling shocked, June clarified while smiling, "Bisexual." She then gave more elaboration, saying, "I'm not going to lie, I played in the minors but never went pro." However, Pumpkin suddenly chimed in, "Yeah, you did go pro."
Pumpkin further told the host that she was very grateful for having a supportive mother. "I am thankful that I have the support that other people don't have," she said. "You cannot hide who you truly are." The teenager admitted that she was hoping to get back with her ex-girlfriend and sent the mystery girl a text message, saying, "I am asking for another chance with you because I want to prove to you that I can treat you the way you deserve."
June and Pumpkin said that they were not afraid of potential backlash that may come following the confession. "I look at it this way, haters are going to hate," June gushed.
According to TMZ, June has had three experiences with women in her life, but she said, "It's no big deal, I was young and experimented with it, never went pro though just played the minor leagues."
June and her husband Sugar Bear currently live separately but she said that they're trying to make things back on track. However, if it fails, she said, "It's open season. I will keep ALL my options open."
