The MTV Movie Awards sneak peek sees Michael Douglas' Hank Pym expressing concerns for chaos if 'you bring godlike powers to everyone.'

AceShowbiz - A brand new teaser for "Ant-Man" is unleashed during MTV Movie Awards before the first full trailer arrives Monday, April 13. It opens with a voiceover from Corey Stoll's Darren Cross/Yellowjacket, "Imagine a soldier the size of an insect." Michael Douglas's Hank Pym is later heard saying, "If you bring godlike powers to everyone, it's going to be chaos."
Paul Rudd is cast as Scott Lang or the titular pint-sized hero, while Evangeline Lilly is tapped to play Hope Van Dyne. Directed by Peyton Reed, the superhero movie will make its way out starting July 17 this year in North America.
Although the movie is released at the end of Phase Two, Kevin Feige insists "Ant-Man" is important in Marvel Cinematic Universe. "It is not [an after-thought]," he explains to SlashFilm. "The truth is the phases mean a lot to me and some people but ... Civil War is the start of Phase Three. It just is. And Ant-Man is a different kind of culmination of Phase Two because it very much is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
The producer adds, "You meet new characters and you learn about Hank Pym and his lineage with the MCU over the years. But at the same time, it also picks up the thread of Age of Ultron in terms of heroes - major heroes, Avengers - coming from unexpected places."
"Whether it's prison in the case of Scott Lang or being a very disgruntled Sokovian Twins as Wanda and Pietro are in Age of Ultron. And in that way it connects a lot. Also, Hank Pym's attitude towards Avengers, towards S.H.I.E.L.D, and kind of the cinematic universe in general, is much more informed after Age of Ultron events, and in a certain way, before the events of Civil War."
