The potential hit was co-penned by singer/songwriter Tove Lo and was first previewed in a teaser for Duff's TV Land series 'Younger'.

AceShowbiz - Hilary Duff's new single is out. After previewing it in a sneak-peek for her new TV Land series "Younger" last month, the singer finally dropped the song called "Sparks" in its entirety on Monday, April 6.

Co-penned by Sweden singer/songwriter Tove Lo, the sexy and dancey pop track features Duff telling her lover, "You can promise castles, treasures, babies, I don't care/ Cause for now you're just enough for me, I want you near." An infectious whistle can be heard at the end of the choruses.

"Sparks" comes to follow the singles "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You" which were both released last years. The songs will be included on Duff's comeback album, which is now scheduled to arrive sometime this year.

"The album has taken on a lot of different lives, which I guess is to be expected when you've taken such big break," the mother of one said of her first full-length in eight years in an interview with TIME last month. "It is a little bit of electro-pop, a lot of it is just straight-forward pop and some of it has gotten pretty dance-y, which is cool. Some songs still have a little bit of a folky side."
