AceShowbiz - Bob Barker surprised "The Price Is Right" audience when he's back on the show Wednesday, April 1 for a special April Fools' prank. The 91-year-old received thunderous applause from the audience as he showed up on the stage.
"Thank you," he said, "What a welcome. I have never had a welcome like that." He added, "I'm here because I was selected by 'The Price is Right' to be their April Fool. I know the world is full of fools, but I am a carefully selected fool, and it is a pleasure to be with you."
Barker hosted a portion of the show before he welcomed the show's current host Drew Carey. "Bob Baker, everybody," Carey said to the audience. "Best April Fools' Day ever."
Barker hosted "The Price Is Right" from 1972 to 2007. The last time he visited the show was in December 2013 to celebrate his 90th birthday.
