The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker slams Mike for signing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law in Indiana, saying, 'Why are the macho afraid to love muchoooo?!?'

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus took to Instagram on Thursday, March 26 to slam Indiana Governor Mike Pence for his decision to sign the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law in his state. The "We Can't Stop" songstress shared a picture of Mike and called him "a**hole" in a pro-LGBT message.

"You're an a**hole @govpenceIN -1 cc: the only place that has more idiots that Instagram is in politics," Miley wrote, echoing her brother Braison's opinion. "@braisoncwukong thank you for standing up for what is right! We need more strong heterosexual men fighting for equality in both men and women! Why are the macho afraid to love muchoooo?!?"

Braison previously also posted the same picture of Mike, urging others to call the governor "an a**hole." He wrote, "This is Indiana Senator, Mike Pence. He is currently trying to pass a law in Indiana to allow businesses to discriminate against gays under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This is wrong in so many ways. Tweet him and tell him he's an a**hole @govpenceIN."

He then shared another picture of the Indiana governor, calling him, "Governor Penis."

Earlier in the day, Mike posted on Twitter, a photo of him at the signing of the religious freedom bill. "I signed SEA 101 today to ensure religious liberty is fully protected under IN law," he wrote alongside the photo.

Mike said in a statement, "Today I signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, because I support the freedom of religion for every Hoosier of every faith. The Constitution of the United States and the Indiana Constitution both provide strong recognition of the freedom of religion but today, many people of faith feel their religious liberty is under attack by government action."

Despite controversy surrounding the religious freedom bill, Mike said it had nothing to do with discrimination against gay people. "This bill is not about discrimination, and if I thought it legalized discrimination in any way in Indiana, I would have vetoed it," he explained, "In fact, it does not even apply to disputes between private parties unless government action is involved. For more than twenty years, the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act has never undermined our nation's anti-discrimination laws, and it will not in Indiana."

Many people, however, disagree with Mike. Andy Cohen tweeted, "Indiana Gov. Mike Pence expected 2 sign bill that'd allow LGBT customers to be turned away. Jackhole of week? MONTH." Samantha Ronson posted, "Indiana ain't for me!" George Takei, meanwhile, wrote, "Outraged over Indiana Freedom to Discriminate law, signed today. LGBTs aren't 2nd class citizens. #BoycottIndiana #Pence."

In other news, Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus defended Patrick Schwarzenegger following his Spring Break drama. When a TMZ photographer asked him about Patrick's recent behavior in Mexico, Billy replied, "He had fun. He's a good boy." It seems things between Miley and Patrick have been cooling off as they were spotted on a dinner date earlier this week.
