AceShowbiz - There will apparently be more songs like "The Heart Wants What It Wants" on Selena Gomez's new album. The singer recently talked about the highly-anticipated prioject with Women's Wear Daily and revealed that she would keep things personal on it while adding "a little darkness."
"I haven't released any music in two years, so it's really going to be me kind of showing my journey in the past two years," the former Disney princess told the site during a recent Louis Vuitton fashion show. "And there's a little darkness in it."
Gomez's latest album is "For You", a greatest hits compilation that also featured two new songs including "The Hearts". The set, marking her last release to come under Disney-owned Hollywood Records, arrived back in 2014.
Gomez is currently working on her first full-length for Insterscope. Most recently, she collaborated with rumored boyfriend and labelmate Zedd on "I Want You to Know". The song serves as the first offering from the DJ's upcoming sophomore album.
