The 'Fast and Furious' actress disagrees with Hollywood for casting non-white actors to play white superhero roles, calling it 'stupid.'

AceShowbiz - Michelle Rodriguez has sparked controversy with her criticism against Hollywood for recasting white superhero roles with minority actors. The "Fast and Furious" star made the comment when asked about a rumor that she was considered to play Green Lantern.

"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard," said the 36-year-old actress. "I think it's so stupid because of this whole 'minorities in Hollywood' thing." She added, "Stop stealing all the white people's superheroes. Make up your own. What's up with that?"

There was indeed some diversity in Hollywood superhero castings recently. In Marvel Cinematic Universe, Samuel L. Jackson is cast as Nick Fury conceived as a white character in the comic books. Also, Michael B. Jordan will play Johnny Storm or Human Torch in the rebooted version of "The Fantastic Four", resulting in a debate among fans because the character was originally created as a white hero. On top of that, there are chatters to cast non-white actors for next James Bond and Spider-Man.
