AceShowbiz - Tyler Perry hosted a star-studded christening for his son Aman Tyler Perry and recruited good friend Oprah Winfrey as one of the Godmothers. The lavish event, held on Sunday, February 15 at the actor's Beverly Hills home, was attended by a number of Perry's celebrity friends, including Cicely Tyson, Oliver Ripley, Jennifer Hudson, and Gayle King.
The following day, Perry took to his Instagram to share a photo of Oprah posing in the venue. "What a special day. Thank you Oprah, Oliver, and Cicely. I know my son has great Godparents. To be born in love is a beautiful thing," so he captioned the pic.
Oprah herself also shared on her Instagram photos from the christening. "the legendary Cicely Tyson and I celebrating @tylerperry's new baby boy. Gospel christening !" so the talk show mogul captioned one photo. She captioned the other snap with, "@Yolandalive,@IAMJHUD sang today for @Tylerperry's baby son's christening. So beautiful to witness."
Aman Tyler Perry was born on November 30, 2014. He is Perry's son with on-off girlfriend Gelila Bekele, whom he has been dating for five years. More photos from Aman's christening can be viewed on Perry's Facebook.
