Some characters codenamed Ridge, Lindsay and more who may appear in the upcoming movie starring Ryan Reynolds are teased in casting call.

AceShowbiz - Some characters who may make appearance in "Deadpool" movie are revealed. Earlier this month, the movie was reported to have used "Whamp!" as the working title and on Monday, February 16, Casting247 shared the casting call for "Whamp!", featuring descriptions of characters which may be included in the Ryan Reynolds-starring film.
In the casting call, there is a character codenamed Ridge who is described as "any ethnicity, early 30s to early 50s. Big, muscular, dangerous, violent, vain, insecure and more than a bit of a d**k... but with a sense of humor." The description continued, "He is not a psychopath, he's practical but morally neutral - he doesn't enjoy torturing people, he just doesn't care."
Another name mentioned in the casting call is Lindsay. "Smart, tough, beautiful but a little bit broken. Nothing has ever been easy for her and she's developed a thick skin and cynical outlook. But she's not a victim - she may not have a great life but she's holding it together and does what she needs to get by. She's got a great sense of humor but it leans heavily towards irony and sarcasm," read the description, adding that she's in her 20s and has "attractive and worldly" appearance.
The description for Simon read, "Any ethnicity, late 20s to early 40s. smart, funny, but more than a little bit slippery. Fast talker, always looking to make a buck. He looks out for himself first and foremost, but reveals loyalty at the end of the day." He is also said to be "quirky, [with] great sense of humor."
Shirlie is described as "African American, late 60s to early 80s. Great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, dry, funny." The description of Kathy read, "Any ethnicity, early to mid teens. World weary, great sense of comedic timing, sarcastic, droll sense of humor." The description for Keren read, "Any ethnicity, early 20s to late 30s. Serious, big, tough," while Albert is "early 30s to early 50s. Big, muscular, dangerous."
The descriptions sparked speculations among fans about the characters. Ridge is speculated to be Garrison Kane (Weapon X), but ComicBookMovie guesses it's Ajax. Lindsay probably is Vanessa Carlyle, while Simon may be Weasel. Based on the age, Shirlie possibly is Blind Al who lives with Reynolds' Wade Wilson. Keren is rumored to be Angel Dust (which will be played by Gina Carano), but ComicBook.com reports it is a male character, suggesting that it is Caliban. Albert is probably Garrison Kane, Sluggo or Wyre.
FYI, TJ Miller and Ed Skrein are playing "Simon" and "Ridge" in DEADPOOL, whoever those characters may actually be...
