AceShowbiz - Laverne Cox is among stars who walked the runway at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, January 12 at the Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. The "Orange Is the New Black" star confidently strutted her stuff in front of audience. Wearing a flowing red dress, Cox made a grand entrance and twirled around in her gorgeous dress.

Many fans expressed their excitement after watching Cox rock the runway. "You were beyond FIERCE," one person wrote on Twitter. "Laverne Cox SLAYED the runway at #GoRedForWomen! As if you'd expect anything else," read a Twitter post.

Cox was joined by 20 other popular names such as Ciara, Kristin Cavallari, Zendaya Coleman, Rosie O'Donnell, the girls of Fifth Harmony, Cynthia Bailey and "Orange Is the New Black" star Dascha Polanco at the presentation. They all walked the runway in red dress for the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection show presented by Macy's.

O'Donnell, who just concluded her stint with "The View", opened the event and gave a speech about heart disease impacting one in three women. Later on, Zendaya excitedly showed off her gorgeous Rubin Singer dress when Madonna's "Material Girl" was played. Cavallari, meanwhile, appeared on the runway with "Unwritten". The members of Fifth Harmony performed their new single "Sledgehammer" at the end of the show.
