The loving note read by the 'Nymphomaniac' actor to introduce Sia's 'Chandelier' performance is actually a love letter from the singer's husband.

AceShowbiz - The letter read by Shia LaBeouf at the 57th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 9 is explained. It's revealed that the loving intro to introduce Sia Furler's performance is a love letter written by the singer's husband Erik Anders Lang.

"What Shia read to introduce Sia wasn't actually a poem," a source tells Us Weekly after the show. "It was a love letter from Sia's husband!" The source adds, "Erik and Shia conspired together and did this as a gift to Sia. She was COMPLETELY surprised and had no idea."

The letter read, "For Sia: I feel like this may be strange to say this here. I love you so. Punch me if I stop crying. I raised a white flag for you, defeated finally. If strength were made of broken pieces, you and I would always win. It is, though, and building and statues wink at us. I could squeeze you to zero. I'll never know another. What am I going to do? Punch me if I stop crying, and I'll do the same. Love, Erik."

Sia took the stage, singing her hit "Chandelier". As the camera-shy singer delivered her lyrics with her back to the crowd, "Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler and actress Kristen Wiig took the spotlight dancing across a messy apartment backdrop.

Ziegler is a frequent star in Sia's music videos. The "Chandelier" video where she was in got nominated for Best Music Video at the Grammys. The young girl recently appeared with LaBeouf in the controversial "Elastic Heart" video.
