The vocalist hints that he'll debut the two songs originally planned for the group's new album on March 1.

AceShowbiz - Following his departure from Blink-182, Tom DeLonge is apparently planning to release new songs he initially created for the group's new album. The co-vocalist gave fans the first listen to a couple of tracks in two previews he recently shared on his personal Instagram account.

DeLonge captioned both low-quality snippets "#SongsWithoutAHome" and "#March1st." Fans are speculating that the latter may be the date the 39-year-old musician will debut the two songs in full.

The rift within Blink-182 was revealed last week, when Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker announced that they'd hired another vocalist to fill in for DeLonge at an upcoming live concert. "We were all set to play this festival and record a new album and Tom kept putting it off without reason," they said at that time and added DeLonge's manager had told them he "didn't want to participate in any Blink-182 projects indefinitely."

DeLonge then denied he left the group before his friends expressed their frustration over his attitude in a tell-all interview with Rolling Stone, saying he's been very difficult to work with. They also called him "disrespectful" and "ungrateful" at one point.

He later responded to the interview in a post on his Facebook page. In the lengthy letter, he denied he purposefully delayed the recording of Blink-182's new album and explained why he found it "hard as hell" to commit to working with the group.
