The Los Angeles City Attorney has decided not to prosecute the 'Easy A' actress for her DUI arrest back in September.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes will not be prosecuted for her September 2014 DUI arrest, TMZ reports. On Thursday, January 22, the Los Angeles City Attorney decided not to prosecute the 28-year-old actress for driving under the influence of Adderall.

According to the site, the City Attorney thought he couldn't sell the case to jury because Amanda's Adderall level in her bloodstream was relatively low during the arrest. However, the City Attorney referred her matter to D.A. because driving under the influence of Adderall "could constitute a probation violation."

The City Attorney's Office spokesman Frank Mateljan told E! News, "As you know, she is currently on probation to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office for a 2012 DUI out of Beverly Hills. The matter was referred yesterday. No further action [in our office] is scheduled on this matter."

If the D.A. tries to revoke the "Sydney White" actress' 2012 probation, she could be sent to jail.

Amanda was pulled over by police on September 28 after stopping her car in the middle of an intersection at Van Nuys, California. After failing sobriety tests, she was taken to police station where police determined she was under the influence of drugs. The "Hairspray" actress was released after she posted a $15,000 bail.
