AceShowbiz - More winners at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards have been revealed. The annual awards show which honored prominent works in TV and movie has named Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Jr. and Armando Bo's "Birdman" as the winner of Best Screenplay award. "Birdman" bested other heavy contenders which included "Gone Girl", "The Grand Budapest Hotel", "Boyhood" and "The Imitation Game".
The next category which was announced at the event was Best Foreign Film. Russian movie "Leviathan" took home the trophy after winning over "Force Majeure" (Sweden), "Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem" (France), "Ida" (Poland) and "Tangerines" (Estonia).
Next, George Clooney's former co-stars Julianna Margulies and Don Cheadle showed up onstage to present him with Cecil B. DeMille Award. "I thought they were going to roast me," the "Ocean 11" star said.
The actor gave a touching speech, mentioning his wife onstage, "It's a humbling thing to find someone to love. Amal, I couldn't be prouder to be your husband." He ended his speech by showing support to people in France who held a march over the Charlie Hebdo incident. "They marched in support of the idea that we will not walk in fear. So JeSuisCharlie," he concluded.

More winners at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will be announced. The event which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California is hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
