The couple decides to part ways, just several months after they got engaged on the finale of the ABC dating show last July.

AceShowbiz - Another romance blossoming on ABC's "The Bachelor" / "The Bachelorette" bites the dust. Andi Dorfman, 27, and Josh Murray, 30, who got engaged on the last season of the dating show in July have grown apart and officially called off their relationship.

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," they said in a joint statement. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."

The announcement came just three days after the couple walked the red carpet together at the premiere event for the newest "Bachelor" cycle Monday, January 5. At the time, they said no wedding date was set. "I think we're open to whatever," Dorfman told Us Weekly. "Honestly we haven't even taken a breath in 2014...so once we take a breath we'll figure out what we want."

Last summer, she was seen on TV accepting Murray's proposal coupled with a diamond ring. "Andi, you are the answer to all my prayers, you are the woman of my dreams," he said back then. "When I look in your eyes...I see a woman I want to give the world to. I see a woman I want to spend my life with."
