Before presenting the Favorite Comedic Movie Actress Award at the event, the 'Big Bang Theory' star joked about the recent controversy regarding her feminism comments.

AceShowbiz - Kaley Cuoco made a joke referencing to her controversial feminism comments when presenting at the People's Choice Awards 2015 on Wednesday, January 7. Appearing alongside "The Wedding Ringer" co-stars Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, Kaley gave "apology tour" for her anti-feminist stance.

Kaley, Kevin and Josh were trying to take an epic selfie onstage before presenting the Favorite Comedic Movie Actress Award. She then asked the guys if they could just announce the nominees. Josh then asked her, "Kaley, are you sure you want to do that category given your anti-feminism stance?" to which she replied, "Guys, I have to, it's part of my apology tour."

After making the joke, the star of "The Big Bang Theory" received some backlashes from Twitter users. Noel Diem wrote, "Someone should tell Kaley Cuoco that feminism isn't a joke. #PeoplesChoiceAwards." Alessandro tweeted, "If kaley cuoco really is an anti-feminist she can go f**k herself and thats strike 483038303 for the big bang theory." Dankey Kang, meanwhile, posted, "Shut up, Kaley Cuoco. You're such a f**k."

In a recent interview with Redbook, Kaley was asked if she considered herself a feminist. "Is it bad if I say no?" she replied, "It's not really something I think about. Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around. I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."

She later backtracked her comments after receiving backlashes. "In my Redbook article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism," she wrote on Instagram, "If any of you are In the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context. I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."
