Kerri, Mike, and Julie Kasem agree to provide their father's widow Jean with all medical reports from the hospital where Casey was treated before he died.

AceShowbiz - Casey Kasem's children have reacted to a lawsuit filed by his widow in an attempt to seek medical records from St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor where he was treated. Kerri, Mike, and Julie Kasem from Casey's previous marriage agree to share the hospital records with his widow, Jean.

The two parties were previously involved in a legal fight over who had the right to care for the DJ who had been suffering from dementia. The children eventually won with Kerri chosen to care for the former "American Top 40" host. She took him to the Washington hospital where he died last June.

"When Casey entered the hospital, there was no expectation he had only a couple of weeks of life left to live," said Jean's attorney Lance Hester as quoted by The Associated Press. "When he perished, his wife, Jeannie, was never given any sort of explanation."

In response, Troy Martin, the lawyer who represents Kerri and her siblings, says, "The Kasem children are happy to provide Mrs. Kasem with all such records in their possession. These records indisputably show that Mr. Kasem was extremely ill when admitted to St. Anthony's hospital on June 1, 2014."

"These records also demonstrate that Kerri Kasem, as the court-appointed conservator of the person, authorized an aggressive course of treatment to combat the life-threatening infections Mr. Kasem had developed while under Mrs. Kasem's care."

Casey was laid to rest on December 16 at Vestre Gravlund, a cemetery in Oslo, Norway. It sparked criticism from Kerri who said her father wished to be buried in the United States.
