Introduced by Brad Pitt, RiRi sings her hit singles like 'Diamonds', 'Pour It Up', 'Umbrella', and 'Run This Town' at her charity dinner.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna took the center stage at the inaugural Diamond Ball she held to raise fund for her Clara Lionel Foundation that works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture. She performed with a full orchestra at the event.

Brad Pitt introduced her performance. When a photo of a young RiRi flashed on the big screen, the actor said to the star-studded audience, "Look at the young girl before you, all full of hopes and dreams, living a humble existence in Barbados, her whole life ahead of her."

But she "soon fell in with a bad crowd led by the dubious and nefarious character known as The Jay-Z," Pitt joked. "For those you not in the know, The Jay Z was an evil impresario known for turning out hit records and ripping insane lyrics and fresh beats. Needless to say it was all downhill from there."

"I ask that we stand together by her side and show her our support and our love and say to her the hard words, 'Rihanna put down that sandwich, get off your ass and do something. God damn it, just do something with your life,' " the actor continued as the room erupted into laugher.

For her performance, the chart-topping singer traded her rose-colored satin dress on the red carpet for a strapless dark blue heavy gown. She delivered her hit singles like "Diamonds", "Pour It Up", "Umbrella", and "Run This Town" for her A-list guests.

She wrote on Instagram, "Feel so lucky to have an evening like this, to spend with people with hearts like mine, who want to change and save lives at any cost! There's so much to do, and I can't do it all by myself, so I have to thank all of the supporters of and people who donated to #TheClaraLionelFoundation Looking forward to seeing you later this evening."
