AceShowbiz - Rihanna and Eminem were among musicians who performed at The Concert for Valor, a tribute concert to honor the courage and sacrifice of America's veterans and their families. The free event, put together by HBO, Starbucks and Chase Corp., was held on Tuesday, November 11 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

RiRi performed her big hits like "Diamonds" and "Stay" during her set. She later brought out Eminem for their collaboration, "The Monster". The rapper kept the party going with "Guts Over Fear" and some of his older tracks including "Not Afraid" and "Lose Yourself".

Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen and Carrie Underwood were other big names performing at the concert. The former kicked off the festivities with a powerful rendition of the national anthem. In a backstage interview later that night, she admitted to being nervous playing for the crowd.

Springsteen later played "The Promised Land", a bluesy version of "Born in the USA" and "Dancing in the Dark" among others. Underwood's setlist, meanwhile, included "See You Again", "Before He Cheats" and her newest single "Something in the Water".

Metallica, Jessie J, Zac Brown Band and Dave Grohl also rocked the Concert for Valor stage. Between performances, stars like Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey honored the veterans with video tributes.
