The song, which will be featured on her upcoming greatest hits album set for release on November 24, is presumably about her troubled relationship with Justin Bieber.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez finally returns with new music. The singer debuted a new song called "The Heart Wants What It Wants" along with its accompanying music video on Thursday, November 6. "I have been waiting to share this with all of you," she told her Twitter followers and attached a link to the visuals.

The heartbreaking ballad was produced by Rock Mafia. The video, shot in black-and-white, opens with a personal recording of her discussing a man, presumably her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.

"I know him though, and I know that I know his heart, and I know what he wouldn't do to hurt me. But I didn't realize that I'm feeling so confident and feeling so great about myself, and then it just be completely shattered by one thing, by something so stupid. But then you make me feel crazy. You make me feel like it's my fault," she says while crying before the clip shows her hanging out with some friends and a man at a club.

The shots of Gomez cozying up to the man intersperse with ones of her breaking down in tears as she sings, "The bed's getting cold and you're not here/ The future that we hold is so unclear/ But I'm not alive until you call/ And I'll bet the odds against it all/ Save your advice 'cause I won't hear/ You might be right but I don't care/ There's a million reasons why I should give you up / But the heart wants what it wants."

"The Heart Wants What It Wants" is featured on Gomez's upcoming greatest hits album, "For You". The LP, which will be her last project with Hollywood Records/Disney, is scheduled to arrive on November 24.
