According to a new report, the label started to 'subtly disassociate' themselves from Sosa following a series of legal cases.

AceShowbiz - Chief Keef is no longer signed to Interscope Records. AllHipHop reported that the major label began to "subtly disassociate" themselves from the rapper following a series of legal cases from lawsuits to drug offenses. He was also involved in a shooting incident in Chicago earlier this year.

Additionally, Sosa and his team appeared to have some disagreement with Interscope regarding his upcoming album. An unnamed insider told AllHipHop, "Keef and his people tried to keep the label accountable [once Keef moved to Los Angeles] but Interscope didn't seem interested in dropping a new album. Keef's team tried to have formal meetings but nothing moved."

Keef has confirmed that he's been dropped from Interscope in a text message he shared publicly via Twitter. "I been dropped for a week now," he wrote and went on blasting his former label, "When [Jimmy Iovine] n [Dr. Dre] left that's when I said f**k Interscope! Big D**k style. that's what I signed up for not this new staff! Of WhiteHonkies!"

Representatives for Insterscope, meanwhile, haven't responded to request for comments.

Keef joined Insterscope in 2012 and he released his debut album "Finally Rich" under the label. Although he's not signed to the label anymore, he promised his upcoming projects, including the new album that's slated for next year, would still come as scheduled via his own imprint label Glory Boyz Entertainment.
