Brad Pitt Says His Marriage to Angelina Jolie Gives Him 'Added Security'

The 50-year-old actor, who tied the knot with the 'Maleficent' actress back in August, reveals that 'there's an added security that comes with' his marriage.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt talked about his marriage to Angelina Jolie in an interview with David Muir on "World News Tonight". Asked about their intimate nuptials, the "Troy" actor replied, "It was an amazing day and I think there's an added security that comes with it."

Brad and Angelina famously vowed not to wed until it was legal for gay couples to marry. "That's just a no-brainer to me. That's the basis of our country," the star of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" said, "Equality for everyone."

During the interview, Brad also shared about bringing his sons to "Fury" set. He claimed his eldest son Maddox, 13, was a big fan of World War II. "My older son could tell you about any tank, any bomber. He could tell you about artillery," he said, "So I got a brief tutorial from him when we started."

Previously, at a "Fury" premiere, Brad told Extra of his honeymoon. "It's a completely dysfunctional honeymoon," he replied, when asked if his "By the Sea" filming with his wife in Malta was a honeymoon.

He explained of the project, "It's a really elegant kind of... sparse story that she has written about a dysfunctional couple. It's really about grief, it's a couple dealing with grief," before adding, "And yes, this is our honeymoon. It's not a bad place to be, I'll tell you that."
