The rapper whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs ran into trouble at security checkpoints at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He was arrested after a gun was detected in his carry-on bag during a scan at the Atlanta airport.
The 28-year-old lyricist reportedly didn't have a permit for the weapon. According to authorities, the gun was loaded when it was found in his luggage. He was subsequently detained and charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.
The rapped was being held in the Clayton County jail while waiting for a bond hearing. A court appearance was set for Saturday morning. There is no immediate word from his camp on the matter. It's also unclear if he had a lawyer.
