AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice continues carrying out her schedule in the wake of her fraud sentence. According to Us Weekly, the star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is set to make an appearance at a party for her Fabellini wine which will take place on October 8 in Westwood, N.J.
According to a source, people close to the reality star thought that the event would be canceled "given yesterday's news," but she decided to continue as planned. Teresa will hand some signed bottles of the wine and pose with fans at the party at Bibi'z Restaurant & Lounge. "She's a strong woman," the source said.
The reality star was sentenced to 15 months in jail, while her husband Joe got 41 months in prison on conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges on Thursday, October 2. She will serve her sentence first so that one of them can be at home for their four daughters. Teresa is set to report for her term on January 5.
In related news, Judge Esther Salas told the Bravo reality star that she originally thought about sparing her. "For a moment, I thought about probation," Salas said, before adding that she would not go easy on her because she failed to list high-ends items in the financial disclosure statement. "I need to send a message that it isn't who you are, how famous you are. If you do something wrong, there will be consequences to pay," she added, as reported by NJ.com.
