One of the vehicles in Harry's motorcade smashed head-on into a white Toyota Prius when escorting him to an Invictus Games event in London.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry was involved in a high-speed crash on Thursday, September 11. He was being escorted to an Invictus Games event in London when one of his motorbike outriders had a head-on collision with a taxi.

A witness said, "I could see Prince Harry clearly in the back of the car with his head in his hands. He looked really distressed and was constantly looking back over his shoulder to see what was happening. It was clear that for security reasons he had to stay in the car."

In some pictures obtained by Mail Online, the wrecked motorbike can be seen embedding in the white Toyota Prius. According to the site, the police outrider was thrown 30ft from his motorbike, while the taxi driver lied injured in his seat surrounded by deployed airbags.

According to another witness, Harry's driver took "evasive action" in accordance with "anti-terrorism training" and "steered through the damaged vehicles at speed before coming to a stop several hundred feet along the road."

According to The Telegraph, a Scotland Yard spokesman said on Thursday night that the police outrider and the taxi driver's conditions were "stable" and it was not "thought to be life threatening at this stage."

Royal's aides confirmed that Harry's convoy "had been involved in the crash but that he hadn't been injured." Harry's representative said, "The prince was obviously very concerned and wanted to make sure the men were OK. He is relieved to hear they are both in a stable condition."
