The former bandmate of Beyonce Knowles was booked at a South Carolina detention center Sunday morning.

AceShowbiz - Farrah Franklin, actress and a former member of the group Destiny's Child, was arrested. Authorities in South Carolina told TMZ that at around 5 A.M. on Sunday, July 20, Farrah was taken into the Horry County Detention Centre in Conway.

Details about what led to the arrest are still sketchy but the 33-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct. Alcohol was reportedly a contributory factor in her condition. Farrah had her mug shot taken at the detention center before being released on a bond Sunday afternoon.

Just hours before the arrest, Farrah shared a picture of herself on a beach on Instagram. In the picture, she looked relaxed and happy. She was wearing a black dress and was smiling at the camera.

Farrah was previously arrested in Los Angeles in 2011 for disorderly conduct. The arrest was also related to her being under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested after someone made a call to the police complaining that she was disturbing the peace. Farrah claimed she was a victim of racial profiling.

Farrah joined Destiny's Child in 2000, along with Michelle Williams (II), to replace two original members of the group, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. She performed alongside Michelle, Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland for five months. The group fired her for not showing up in a promotional tour. Beyonce said that it was a "group decision" instead of a "management decision." The group's manager, Mathew Knowles stated, "The bottom line is that Farrah didn't show up for work. I don't care where you work, whether it's a production line or whatever, if you don't show up, you're going to get fired."

Farrah shared another image on Instagram after her release. It was an inspirational quote which read, "To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated, and misunderstood. Stay strong." She captioned the image with, "That part! I'm good just hate the dumb media sometimes, but hey this is the job I signed up for. So I respect it #TurnDownForWhat #TeamFARRAH #GodsChild #Instagram."
