Movie

The former Bond depicter plays a highly trained ex-CIA agent who must face off his former protege in his last mission.

AceShowbiz - Pierce Brosnan is back into spy world in the first teaser trailer for "The November Man". Making its way out for viewing pleasure, the video sees the veteran actor sharing his knowledge about bullet to Luke Bracey, warning him that love has no place in this business. He attacks a man and eludes capture, all while trying to protect Olga Kurylenko.

Brosnan, who played the famous 007 agent in four Bond films, stars as Peter Devereaux, a lethal and highly trained ex-CIA agent with killer instincts, in the new action thriller. When Devereaux is lured out of retirement by a former colleague for one last mission, he soon finds himself at the treacherous center of an international conspiracy.

On a deadly journey that will take him from Moscow to Belgrade, Devereaux is tracking one of the world's most ruthless men, when he learns that his former CIA protege David Mason (Bracey) has been assigned to terminate him. The game of cat and mouse escalates when Alice Fournier (Kurylenko), the last known connection to an eye witness, gets caught in the cross fire. With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust, no rules and no holds barred.

Based on Bill Granger's bestselling "November Man" book series, the movie is directed by Roger Donaldson. The R-rated flick is set to open in theaters across the nation on August 27.

"It just felt right, what can I say?" 61-year-old Brosnan told USA Today about returning to the big screen as a spy agent. "Enough time has passed from my days as Bond. I think the stage is big enough and wide enough for me to step back."
