'Dream Date' from Ryan Seacrest Prods. will feature a group of women looking for love and has a celebrity element.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Seacrest will play a matchmaker through his latest TV project. The "American Idol" host, through his Ryan Seacrest Prods., is producing a dating competition series titled "Dream Date", which has just got a greenlight from FOX.

Deadline, which first reported the news, learned that the show would revolve around a group of women looking for love and feature a celebrity element. The show is reportedly currently shooting for a possible late midseason/fall premiere, but no airdate is set so far.

Details of the new series are also scarce, but casting calls that went out last spring revealed the show was looking for women ages 21 and over nationwide. The audition sheet also mentioned, "Do you think chivalry is dead? Are you asked or expected to pay half the final bill? Would you like to be wined and dined? Are you ready to have a life-changing dating experience?"

Ryan Seacrest Prods. has launched such reality series as "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and its spin-offs as well as "Married to Jonas". The busy radio personality himself is set to host "The Million Second Quiz", which will premiere on September 9 at 8/7c on NBC.
