The occasional guest on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' slams the Giudices, 'I tried to tell people from day one they were criminals.'

AceShowbiz - After Bethenny Frankel openly said she "didn't feel bad" for Teresa Giudice, now Kim Granatell slams the embattled Bravo reality star. Commenting on the major fraud charges faced by Teresa and her husband, Kim ripped the couple, "Flashing all that cash, I tried to tell people from day one they were criminals."

Kim, who occasionally appeared on Teresa's show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey", went on with her backlash, "She needs a reality check. Where are her feelings of remorse for ruining people's lives and businesses? A normal person with feelings for others would feel terrible and do everything to make things right."

When asked by Patch if Teresa's husband Joe would take the extra blame for his wife, Kim blasted, "How could he do that? She's on the charges too and the kids are molded into brats anyway." She said she only felt sorry for the kids "only if they have to stay with Teresa and Joe."

Teresa and Joe are indicted on 39 counts of "conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud." He is also charged for evading taxes from 2004 through 2008. They were released after posting a $500,000 bond each.

They could face up to 20 or 30 years in prison if convicted. He could also be deported to his home country of Italy and she could be terminated from the Bravo reality TV show. As for now, they are to limit their travel to New Jersey and New York, pending the next court hearing on August 14.

"My reaction to that is, okay, one or two counts? Okay, I can feel sorry for the kids," Kim said in a separate interview with Us Weekly of the Guidices' legal woes. "But 39?! You didn't know what you were doing? You didn't think of the consequences? Come on! Come on!"

"It really didn't surprise me because it was just time and it was about when it was going to happen," she added. "I knew it was going to happen, it was just when was it going to happen."

Kim's harsh comments earned her a backlash from Teresa's castmate Jacqueline Laurita. "Hey @Kimgranatell ! I haven't seen you in 2 years,U have been MIA, until now. U r very vocal," she tweeted. "I know you never cared for T & J but...[quoting Proverbs 24:17] Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice."

Former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" Jill Zarin and "The Real Housewives of Miami" member Lea Black also expressed their sympathy. "I feel really bad because I really like Teresa," Zarin told PEOPLE. "I only want the best for her and her family." She added, "I feel like [we're] Housewives and that we should all support each other in times of need like this."

Lea, though never rooting for Teresa on the show, said her "heart breaks" for the family. "It's a bad situation for them to be in. You don't kick someone when they're down," she stated, adding that her main concern was the children. "They've got four kids, they're in a lot of trouble and they're trying to survive," she said. "She may need some help raising those children. The consequences may be bigger than anyone would think."

Former member of "The Real Housewives of New York City" Bethenny who didn't have sympathy for the couple also felt bad for their kids. "I feel badly for them because they have kids, and their kids didn't sign up for this," she previously said.
