AceShowbiz - MTV.com has unveiled a batch of "The Maze Runner" stills, which gives fans an exclusive first look at leading man Dylan O'Brien. The 21-year-old actor, who is best known for starring on "Teen Wolf" series as "Stiles" Stilinski, is featured in one of the pics alongside his co-stars, including Kaya Scodelario and Aml Ameen.
In the film, O'Brien is introduced as Thomas, a boy who is mysteriously sent into a strange maze called The Glade. Remembering nothing but his first name, Thomas joins a group of boys who also have no idea how they got there and how to get out. He leads them all to keep working together to find a way out of the place which is surrounded by stone walls.
Director Wes Ball decribes "High Road" actor O'Brien's character as a "curious" one. "That's partly perceived as a threat, but it actually may be the thing that gets him out," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Lindsay Williams, Lee Stollman and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein serve as producers for the sci-fi film, which also stars Will Poulter and Thomas Sangster among others.
Adapted from James Dashner's novel, "The Maze Runner" is due out on February 14, 2014.
