Some big names including Katie Couric, Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg join the cast members of Broadway's 'Kinky Boots' in a funny new clip for the song.

AceShowbiz - Famous celebrities as well as several Broadway ladies celebrate the 30th anniversary of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by covering the song in a funny way. Showing off a pair of high-heeled red boots, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Katie Couric, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb are lip-syncing and having a lot of fun in the video.

In addition to the famous names, cast members of Broadway's "Kinky Boots", "The Lion King", "Cinderella", "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" are dancing to and singing the song in their dressing rooms. They wear their costumes and play with the boots, and some of them use the boots as a microphone, a guitar, and a golf stick.

The video was also made to honor Lauper's first Tony nominations. She is nominated for the Best Original Score for her work in "Kinky Boots", a Broadway musical that tells a tale of a shoemaker who creates flashy and funky footwear for drag artists.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Lauper said that she already watched the video and she was happy with that. "It's so sweet, I'm crying," she told the site on Monday, June 3. "The Kinky Boots cast is so funny, and all the other shows participating is the sweetest thing I've ever seen."
