The male photographer involved in the fracas reportedly complained of pain to his upper torso. An ambulance was called to the scene and he was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment before being released a short time later.
Police said they wanted to talk to Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez, who was with him when the altercation occurred. When the officers arrived at the scene earlier on Sunday, May 27, the couple had already driven away.
Witnesses testified that the paparazzo tried to prevent Justin from leaving by blocking his car. A scuffle ensued when the guy refused to move away. The cameraman filed a police report after being advised by a lawyer who said he could get a lot of money out of the incident.
