In the same tweet, the former 'Hannah Montana' star sends her love to Kelly Osbourne for standing up for her after a video of her jokingly referring to herself as 'a stoner' emerged.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus isn't staying quiet when her friends got attacked by a number of Twitter users. The "Can't Be Tamed" singer, who recently made headlines for joking about smoking "too much f***in' weed", writes in her account, "Please stop bombarding my friends twitter pages with rude comments."

The 19-year-old songstress goes on to put more stern words in her tweet for the critics."NOTHING gives you the right to threaten people," so she stresses. At the end of the tweet, she sends her love to best friend Kelly Osbourne, who has spoken in her defense after a video of her referring to herself as "a stoner" came out.

Gossip bloggers started to report that Miley has openly admitted to being "pothead" after she was caught on tape bragging about smoking marijuana when presented with a cake featuring the face of reggae icon Bob Marley at her recent birthday party at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

As soon as the story made headlines, Kelly tried to clear up the air by tweeting, "let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE!" She added, "the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called 'friends' would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!"

A spokeswoman for Miley also came out with similar statement in defense of the former "Hannah Montana" star. The rep told E! News, "It's all been taken out of context. The cake was a joke and Miley's response was intended to be sarcastic."
