Looking dapper in a black suit, white shirt and a bow tie, the 'Friends with Benefits' actor escorted Corporal Kelsey De Santis to the military event in Virginia on Saturday, November 12.

AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake has fulfilled the promise he made back in July. On Saturday, November 12, the "Friends with Benefits" star attended the Marine Corps ball, which took place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia, as Corporal Kelsey De Santis' date.

One Marine at the ball told PEOPLE, "Justin seemed to have a good time, and it was great to see him there." Richmond's local news station, WTVR, also obtained a photo of the 30-year-old singer-turned-actor sitting at a table surrounded by marines in uniform. He looked dapper in a black suit, white shirt and a bow tie.

A day before the ball, De Santis threw a dance challenge at JT. "My friends keep saying, 'Dance-off!' They know about my skills," she told Access Hollywood. "I honestly don't think he'll be able to keep up with my group of people... I don't think he'll be able to keep up with us." It's still unclear whether the "SexyBack" singer hit the dance floor during Saturday ball.

De Santis invited JT to the Marine Corps Ball back in July via YouTube. "So, Justin," she said in the video clip. "I'm going to call you out and ask you to come to the Marine Corps ball with me on Nov. 12." She added, "And if you can't go, all I have to say is, cry me a river."

When JT was asked about the invitation at a press conference for "Friends with Benefits", he told the reporters, "I'll tell you what: I accept." He then joked, "I don't get asked out. Ever. So I was very flattered by that." He went on to add, "If my schedule works out to do it, I'd love to do it. It's an honor."
