Chris Brown, Beyonce and Kanye West Lead Nominations for 2011 Soul Train Awards

Breezy dominates the nominee pack this year by grabbing five nominations, while Beyonce Knowles and Kanye trail behind him with four nods each.

AceShowbiz - Nomination list for this year's Soul Train Awards has just been unveiled. It's revealed that Chris Brown gets the most nods by scoring a total of five nominations, while Beyonce Knowles and Kanye West follow him closely by scooping four each.

The "Next 2 You" singer is up for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, competing against Trey Songz, Cee-Lo Green, R. Kelly, Eric Benet and Miguel. He once again fights Trey in Album of the Year in addition to facing off Adele, Jill Scott, Beyonce and Kanye.

Breezy is pitted against Adele, Jill and Kanye again in Song of the Year, and has to additionally beat Kelly Rowland and Miguel to win the award. Meanwhile, in Best Dance Performance, he goes head-to-head with Kelly, Beyonce, Rihanna, Mary Mary and Keri Hilson.

He receives his fifth nod in Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year, thanks to "Look at Me Now". He gets Nicki Minaj and Lupe Fiasco as strong competitors beside battling Kanye who grabs a double nomination in this category through his solo song "All of the Lights" and his collaborative with Jay-Z in "Otis".

While Kanye bumps into Breezy in all of his four nominations, Beyonce has two nods in which she doesn't meet the "I Can Transform Ya" singer. The pregnant artist is vying for Best Female R&B/Soul Artist along with Kelly, Jill, Marsha Ambrosius, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige.

Beyonce appears in Record of the Year category as well, thanks to one of her singles "Best Thing I Never Had". She is facing off Adele ("Rolling in the Deep"), Marsha ("Far Away"), Raphael Saadiq ("Good Man"), and Michael Jackson through his posthumous single "Hold My Hand".

The show will be taped on November 17 in Atlanta and will premiere on CENTRIC and BET on exactly ten days later. Cedric "The Entertainer" is going to host the event, while Jill Scott, Mindless Behavior, Robin Thicke, Lloyd, Miguel, Melanie Fiona and Keith Sweat will perform.
