Billboard is going to celebrate Beyonce's career achievements and influence in the music industry at a live ceremony on May 22.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles will receive Millennium Award at Billboard Music Awards on May 22. One of the most celebrated female singers, the former member of Destiny's Child is chosen as a special honoree due to her career achievements and influence in the music industry.
The award will be presented at a live ceremony which will be hosted by "The Hangover" actor Ken Jeong. Performing that night will be Cee-Lo Green, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna.
Nominees for this upcoming awards have been announced last April. Nicki Minaj gets two nods; Top New Artist and Top Rap Artist. Leading the whole pack, meanwhile, is Rihanna with 18 nominations including Top Artist.
