2009 AMAs: Full Winners List, Taylor Swift Takes Top Honor

Receiving Artist of the Year award, Taylor Swift leads winners list of 2009 American Music Awards with five kudos in total.

AceShowbiz - After several artists including Alicia Keys, Eminem and Timbaland made live performances, Toni Braxton appeared alongside Keri Hilson to announce that Jay-Z has won Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Male Artist. When collecting the award, the rapper used that moment to thank Alicia Keys for her support in "Empire State of Mind".

Minutes later, the top honor of the evening was announced by Ryan Seacrest. It's Taylor Swift who was crowned Artist of the Year, pushing aside Kings of Leon, Lady GaGa, Eminem and Michael Jackson.

The rest of the winners were unveiled off air. "Twilight" soundtrack was revealed as Favorite Soundtrack during the closing credits. Michael Jackson's compilation "Number Ones", meanwhile, was named Favorite Pop/Rock and Soul/R 'n' B Album. Taylor Swift's "Fearless" won Favorite Country Album and Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" was named Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album.

Taylor added another trophy to her collection with Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist. Aventura received Favorite Latin Music Artist and Mary Mary took home Favorite Contemporary Inspirational Artist.
