Scott Aukerman, one of the writers for 2009 MTV Movie Awards, confirms on his blog that the Bruno/Eminem incident during the event actually was planned.

AceShowbiz - While talks are still mounting on the particular segment at this weekend MTV Movie Awards where Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno accidentally landed his naked bottoms on Eminem's face, it has been confirmed that the incident actually was planned. Scott Aukerman, one of the writers for the awards show, is quoted as confirming in a post on his blog, "Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged."

"That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then. Okay, you can stop reading this blog now!" the post read further. However, the post has since been taken down for unknown reason.

Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno was billed to announce the winner of Best Male Performance MTV Movie Award, which went to "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" star Zac Efron, during the annual awards show on Sunday evening, May 31. He appeared wearing angel's wings and drifting down from the ceiling of the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. where the event was held. Unfortunately, he got tangled, fell in the crowd and landed his thong-clad bottoms on Eminem's face. The come-back rapper was videotaped getting mad over the incident, which led him walking out of the star-studded affair.

As of press time, neither Eminem nor Cohen has made statement regarding the stunt. MTV also hasn't commented to the sketchy details regarding the matter.
