Over the holiday, Jennifer Love Hewitt has reportedly decided to break up with Ross McCall after two years of dating.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Love Hewitt may not end up marrying fiance Ross McCall as she has reportedly called off her engagement to the man she was dating for two years. The no-longer pair is rumored to end their relationship over the holiday.

"They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement," a source told People. "They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them." Both camps have yet to give any comment concerning the issue.

Jennifer Love Hewitt first met Ross McCall in 2006 when he made a guest appearance on CBS' TV series "Ghost Whisperer", where she plays Melinda Gordon. After a year of dating, they got engaged in November 2007, while vacationing in Hawaii. Jennifer reportedly even told TVGuide that she and Ross had set a wedding date as "the planning's almost done."

Jennifer Love Hewitt claimed her fame through her role in FOX's TV series "Party of Five" as Sarah Reeves and most recently voiced Princess Kyla in computer-animated fantasy movie "Delgo". Ross McCall meanwhile was most notable for his role as Cpl. Joseph Liebgott in the HBO's miniseries "Band of Brothers" and along with it, he also appeared in other TV series; "Crash" and "The Return of the Borrowers".
