'Playboy Bunny' Anna Faris Lands the Cover of Playboy

She bares her toned stomach in a matching pink-colored short top and mini skirt for the cover of the September 2008 issue of Playboy magazine.

AceShowbiz - Portraying the role of Playboy Bunny Shelley Darlington who teaches an awkward sorority about the opposite sex in Columbia Pictures' comedy flick "The House Bunny" gives Anna Faris the lifetime chance to be featured on the cover of men's magazine Playboy. In a fruition of an early report, she has landed the cover of its September issue.

Faris is photographed on the cover baring her toned stomach in a matching pink-colored short top and mini skirt. She completes her outfits, wearing bracelets and playboy bunny necklace. "Anna Faris Is the House Bunny" reads the tagline that accompanies her cover picture.

Despite her toned stomach and curvy body, Faris did admit to the publication that she used to feel not confident about her looks. "I felt unattractive, short and self-conscious about my body, and I would purposely emphasize that by doing odd things," she explained when recalling her teenage years. "I wore glasses, braces, odd hairdos and dumpy clothes ... When I was a freshman I wore a Christmas-tree skirt as a cape. I couldn't get any dates until senior year."

Gaining a curvier body ever since, Faris indeed still needed a workout in order to get into shape for her role in "The House Bunny". "I was working out hard," so she said. "My boyfriend was like, 'Baby, you got to eat. You're losing your butt.'"

The workout proves worthy as it makes Faris "felt really sexy" during the photo shoot for Playboy's cover. She told E!'s Mark Malkin "I found myself totally getting into it. I was like, 'Let's just take it all off.'" Her publicist, nevertheless, successfully prevented her from doing so.

Furthermore sharing her experience shooting "The House Bunny" at Hugh Hefner's legendary Playboy Mansion, the actress said "It was my first time there. It was surreal. There were randomly placed jars of baby oil but no babies that I knew of ... It was great: peacocks, monkeys, hot girls and old men in pajamas! It was awesome."

"The House Bunny" is slated for an August 22 release date. The September issue of Playboy that features Faris as its cover girl will hit the newsstands Friday, August 15 and a peek of the cover can in the meantime be seen on E!
