A fight broke out between Pamela Anderson's ex-es, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, during the ceremony of 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

AceShowbiz - This year's MTV Video Music Awards surprise may not only come from Britney Spears' criticized performance but also two of Pamela Anderson former lovers who have fought at the ceremony. Tommy Lee is believed to have initiated a fight with Kid Rock that the latter decided to anticipate.
MTV VJ Sway recalled the moment, "Tommy Lee was sitting by Diddy. (Kid Rock) just walked up and decked him!" However, another eyewitness, producer Rich Nice who only sat two tables away, speculated that the starter may actually be Tommy. "It looked like Tommy Lee initiated it because Kid Rock was ignoring him," he said. "And Tommy Lee kind of antagonized him. And then when Tommy Lee stood up, it looked a little weird, like 'Yo, what?'"
"When Tommy stands up is when Kid hit him the first time with a backhand. And then Tommy Lee looked like he was trying to get at him to aggressively retaliate and then Kid Rock hits Tommy Lee again - bong. And then security grabs Tommy Lee in a headlock and pulls him off."
Kid was allowed to remain in the venue while Tommy was escorted out of the building by security guards while "screaming the f-word over and over again," a source said. Later on that night, the incident became the subject of ridicule by some stars.
Jamie Foxx who presented 'Best New Artist' joked, "Stop all of this white-on-white crime. Tommy Lee and Kid Rock fighting like black folks - it's hilarious. Who won? I was in the bathroom. Pamela Anderson has got a hard choice to make."
P. Diddy also slipped a comment on the beef before introducing the final performance. "I was supposed to be doing this with Kid Rock, but you know, we got to stop the violence," he said. "It's not just hip-hop artists that fight."
Earlier that night, Pamela was seen greeting Tommy, the father of her two sons, and sitting on his lap. She also met her second husband Kid on the red carpet, creating what people described "awkward moment".
No police involvement or the reason of the fight have been reported.
