Joyner Lucas is an artist worthy of recognition. Through his straight-forward and meaningful lyrics, the rapper has touched every human thoughts and every human emotions. In addition to that, he's blessed with incredible skills and great vocals that go well within the hip-hop industry.

Having been active in the game since 2007, Joyner had his first taste of fame when his 2015 release "Ross Capicchioni" received widespread acclaim from both music lovers and critics. He further gained recognition when his 2017 single "I'm Not Racist" went viral and was greatly praised by critics.

The single, which is about race and society, and race relation from the perspective of a white man and a black man, helped him achieve his first Grammy nomination. It was nominated for Best Music Video at the 2018 ceremony, but eventually lost to Childish Gambino's (Donald Glover) "This Is America" visuals.

Despite the loss, he continued to make great music. In late last month, Joyner released his debut studio album "ADHD". The record was inspired by his childhood diagnosis with ADHD, as he recalled in an interview, "Creating music was and always has been my only therapy. It’s the only way I ever knew how to express myself. I was tired of being cut off every time i spoke or had a opinion.. I figured if I made music then you would have no choice but to listen to me and hear me out."

The album debuted at No. 10 on Billboard 200 chart, with Will Smith praising Joyner for paying tribute to him in the music video for "Will". "Joyner Lucas! That joint is crazy! I'm humbled and honored," he said. "It has been my intention from day one to go into the world positive energy, and use my creations to inspire and elevate and elevate and empower."
