J-Hope's new comeback single successfully brought him to the pinnacle on iTunes charts across the globe. Shortly after its July 1 release, "MORE" stole the No. 1 spot on the lists in at least 84 different countries, including the United States, Canada, Spain, France and Denmark.

With "More", the BTS (Bangtan Boys) member could see his name on Spotify's "Global Top Artists" daily chart for the first time as he landed at No. 104. This made him the highest-charting Korean soloist on the chart in Spotify history.

The track itself also reached No. 9 on Spotify's "Global Top Songs" daily chart after gaining 3,870,017 streams on the first day of its release. As for its official music video, it has been viewed more than 37 million times.

"More" is pre-single off J-Hope's first full-length solo album "Jack in the Box", which is slated to be released on July 15. The rapper/dancer previously teased that he would show a darker tone and a new side of himself in the upcoming project.

"If I was going to convey the things I wanted to say, I would have to be darker," the 28-year-old musician, born Jung Ho-seok, explained. "It's something I've never done before, so I was excited to try something new."

In making the announcement of his forthcoming album earlier this month, J-Hope said he sees it as a healthy step. "I think we should spend some time apart to learn how to be one again," he said. "I hope you don't see this as a negative thing, and see it as a healthy plan. I think BTS will become stronger that way."

That aside, J-Hope is currently preparing to launch his second pre-release single called "Arson". On Sunday, July 10, he shared on Instagram some teaser photos that saw him posing next to a smashed up automobile that caught on fire. He simply captioned it by writing, "(Arson)' Concept Photo 1."
