Making its way out on May 10, the song topped the charts in several countries such as Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom. It additionally opened at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, just behind Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' "Old Town Road", and broke Spofity's single-day streaming record with 10.977 million daily global streams. The record was previously held by Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" with 10.819 million.

It also arrived in the top ten in several other countries including the U.K., Germany, Canada and Australia.
Both "I Don't Care" and "Cross Me" will be included on the Grammy-winning singer's upcoming album "No. 6 Collaborations Project" that is slated to hit the stores on July 12. "Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called 'No. 5 Collaborations Project'," he said of the album. "Since then, I've always wanted to do another, so I started 'No. 6' on my laptop when I was on tour last year. I'm a huge fan of all the artists I've collaborated with and it's been a lot of fun to make."
The upcoming effort will be a follow-up to his successful album "Divide (division sign)", which won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. Additionally, the record was named Album of the Year in countries such as Australia, Canada, France and New Zealand among others.
