Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish may only be 17 years old, but that doesn't mean she will let her talent be overlooked. Beginning her musical career as a mere SoundCloud artist, Billie has now become a certified teenage pop star who has crafted one of the most critically and commercially successful releases of the year. Making things more amazing than it already is, that release is actually her debut album.

Titled "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", the album received a score of 81 out of 100 at Metacritic which means that it receives universal acclaim. In addition to that, the record topped many music charts around the world, including the United States, Australia, Irish, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Not stopping there, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" helped Billie broke multiple records on Billboard charts. Racking up 313,000 units in its first week, it marked the second-highest sales of the year, just behind Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next". The album also made Billie, who was born in 2001, become the first artist born in the 21st century to top the chart. She additionally had 12 songs off the album on Billboard's Hot 100, the most ever for a female musician.

Due to the massive popularity of songs from the album, Billie was tapped to perform at the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival even though she was actually not at the age where she was allowed to attend the festival. Giving her best for the performance, she earned praises from many music critics. Mikael Wood of the Los Angeles Times said, "Throughout the show, Eilish carried herself with a confidence beyond her years," while Chris Willman of Variety called her performance a "triumph."

Billie is now on the road to promote her debut album. Dubbed "When We All Fall Asleep Tour", the 52-date trek is scheduled to end on September 7 in Berlin, Germany.
